Manual for Models

Manual for Models

Getting there as... a model! Is a dutch book written by Jennifer

Delano with the name 'Je Doelen Bereiken.... Als Model!'

based on the theory that PR is the key to success. After finding

a publisher in the USA it will be available in English.

The book is based on a roadmap. Written in simple language, the

book explains what you can do besides working as a top

model. The book focuses on the 98% of models who won't

get the chance to work internationally. It explains how to work,

how to handle the industry and how to arrange a fee for your work.

The book also provides information about working in areas close

to modeling such as acting and presenting. And also includes a

list of usefull addresses for models.

Orange Catwalk

Oranje Catwalk 2009

In 2008 the Orange Catwalk was organized for the first time.

The catwalk was designed in a positive spirit, as a statement

of respect, but was marred by violence when some

spectators attacked model Mike du Pree on the catwalk. The

Orange Catwalk returned in 2009 to repeat its positive

statement---this time at the heart of the gay scene in

Amsterdam.
